Do you have unwanted household items stuck in your storage closet that is taking up a little too much space? Instead of dropping it off at goodwill, what if you took it somewhere local that gives back to people in need? Central Furniture Rescue is a nonprofit organization RIGHT HERE in Cedar Rapids, ran 100% on volunteers from our community. They take donated unwanted furniture and household items. Then they provide them to clients referred to them who are transitioning from homelessness into a place to live.
